PubMed
PubMed is a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine that includes over 17 million citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles back to the 1950s. PubMed includes links to full text articles and other related resources.

Health Sciences Library
PITT's Health Sciences Library provides a large number of resources related to physiology and medicine. These resources can be accessed for free on the PITT network or by logging in through the PITT Portal.

UPtoDATE
UptoDate is a resource for physicians that contains information related to physiology, pathophysiology, and medical treatment. The site can be accessed for free through the Health Sciences Library.

Medscape
A website for physicians and medical students with comprehensive information about diseases, drugs, and clinical procedures. Registration is required (you will need to register as a medical student). Note: the Medscape app for the iPad provides a very helpful interface for the same content.

Guyton-Hall Textbook Site

Boards and Beyond
This subscription site contains over 400 videos on physiology and pathophysiology. The site is primarily to aid medical students prepare for the USMLE exams.

WebMD is a site with considerable medically-related information presented in lay terms.

Drugs.com is the most popular, comprehensive and up-to-date source of drug information online. Providing free, accurate and independent advice on more than 24,000 prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines and natural products.
